[origin: WO2009071781A1] In a radiocommunication infrastructure network, transmitting data organised in symbol sequences to a piece of receiving equipment over a number of radio connections, the data for transmission are encoded following an encoding scheme with error correction to produce a systematic set of symbols and a corresponding redundant set of symbols, the systematic symbols and a first sub-set of the set of corresponding redundant symbols are transmitted over a first radio connection amongst thee number of radio connections in broadcast mode and a sec0nd sub-set of the set of corresponding redundant symbols is transmitted over a second radio connection from amongst said number of radio connections distinct from the first.
