[origin: EP2241679A1] Gabion of the type comprising lateral surfaces (11-14), a bottom base surface (21) and a top base surface (20) defining a closed structure (10), provided with at least one recess for accommodating a back filling in its inside. Advantageously, at least a portion of the top base surface (20) of the afore said closed structure includes at least one opening (25) for the back filling passing therethrough, the other surfaces of the closed structure (10) not allowing the back filling passing therethrough.
