[origin: EP2241797A2] The device has a lighting element (1) e.g. LED, that is arranged on a printed circuit board (2) and connected to a supply network. The printed circuit board is surrounded by a housing and allows a focused light emission over a light emitting region (6). The housing has a plug connection device (7) with plug contact parts (8) for connecting a plug connection coupling. The plug contact parts are outwardly guided from the housing and directly attached to conductive strips (9) of the printed circuit board.
