Abstract (en)
The mechanism has a second hammer (23) driven onto a pivoting axle (15) pivoting between a lower bridge (20) and an upper bridge (19). Upper and lower ends (17, 18) of the axle are rotated freely in stones (21, 22). The stones are driven on the axle and into housings (21a, 22a) of the bridges such that a watchmaker adjusts height of the hammer with respect to a second heart-piece (12) only by modifying an axial position of the hammer on the axle and by forcing the stones in the housings during mounting of the mechanism. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting height of a hammer with respect to a heart-piece.

La présente invention a pour objet un mécanisme de chronographe comprenant une première roue solidaire d'un premier coeur, ainsi qu'un premier marteau coopérant avec ledit premier coeur. Ce mécanisme se distingue par le fait que le premier marteau est chassé sur un axe de pivotement pivoté librement entre deux ponts ou entre un pont et la platine du mouvement et dont chaque extrémité constitue un pivot qui est pivoté librement dans une pierre chassée dans un logement desdits ponts ou de la platine ; et par le fait que le premier marteau ainsi que les pierres dans lesquelles sont pivotés librement les pivots de l'axe de pivotement sont chassés respectivement sur l'axe de pivotement et dans les logements correspondants de manière à ce que l'horloger, au montage du mécanisme, puisse ajuster in situ la hauteur du premier marteau par rapport à son coeur respectif uniquement en modifiant la position axiale du premier marteau sur son axe de pivotement et en enfonçant desdites pierres dans leur logement.
