[origin: WO2009092944A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for teaching a manual technique to an operator and to a related method, wherein the device (1) includes a grasping member (2) representative of a tool to be handled by the operator, a physical substrate (3) representative of the object to be worked, a means (4) for detecting the grasping member (2), the physical substrate (3) and the movements made by the operator, as well as processing and control means (5) for the different means of the device, that particularly process the detected movements of the operator, and an information projection means (6) for the operator, characterised in that the physical substrate (3) and the information projection means (6) are arranged relative to each other so that the information is projected onto the physical substrate (3).
