The mechanism (5) has a longitudinal striking axle is movably arranged in a flying piston (13) and an exciter piston (12). A pneumatic chamber (19) is closed by a metallic guide cylinder (10), the flying piston and the exciter piston, and a driving unit (3) i.e. electric motor, periodically moves the exciter piston. The flying piston is stimulated to a periodical movement between the flying piston and exciter piston, and an inner wall (11) of the guide cylinder and a lateral surface of the flying piston and exciter piston are provided with thermosetting plastic and/or thermoplastic material.

Das erfindungsgemässe pneumatische Schlagwerk beinhaltet einen Führungszylinder, indem ein Flugkolben und ein Erregerkolben längs einer Schlagachse beweglich angeordnet sind. Der Führungszylinder weist einen Kunststoff auf. Ein pneumatischer Raum, abgeschlossen durch den Führungszylinder, den Flugkolben und den Erregerkolben, und ein Antrieb zum periodischen Bewegen des Erregerkolbens, wodurch der Flugkolben zu einer periodischen Bewegung zwischen Schlagfläche und Erregerkolben angeregt ist, sind in dem Schlagwerk vorgesehen.
