Abstract (en)
The device has a primary mirror (2) associated to a light source e.g. halogen lamp, for forming a primary light beam. A secondary mirror (4) cooperates with the light source for forming a secondary light beam. The secondary light beam comprises light rays having an inclination angle, relative to an optical axis, greater than a maximum angle of the primary light beam relative to the optical axis. The secondary mirror is arranged at a nonzero distance from the primary mirror. An independent claim is also included for a method for creating a secondary virtual light source in a lighting and/or signaling device.

L'invention concerne un dispositif optique (1), notamment un dispositif d'éclairage et/ou de signalisation de véhicule automobile, ce dispositif présentant un axe optique (X) et comportant : - un premier miroir (2) associé à une source de lumière (3) pour former un premier faisceau lumineux, - au moins un deuxième miroir (4) agencé pour coopérer avec ladite source de lumière pour former un deuxième faisceau lumineux, lequel comporte des rayons lumineux présentant un angle d'inclinaison (A2) par rapport à l'axe optique plus grand que l'angle d'inclinaison (A1) maximal des rayons du premier faisceau par rapport à cet axe optique.
