[origin: WO2009103391A1] The invention relates to a fastening element (1) for wood-fibre insulating boards comprising a holder element (2), which has an insulating material thread (13) with a thread core (14), and a fastening means (3). In order to provide a fastening element (1) which is simple to produce and suitable for wood-fibre insulating boards, the invention proposes that the thread core (14) of the holder element (2) has an external diameter (D?) which is greater at least by a factor of 1.5 than the fastening means (3), and the maximum external diameter (DD) of the insulating material thread (13) is greater at least by a factor of 1.4 and at most by a factor of 2.5, in particular by a factor of 1.4 to 1.75, than the external diameter (D?) of the thread core (14) of the holder element (2).
