Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009079650A2] A system and method for allocating transmission resources to data being carried within a data transmission frame are described herein. The transmission resources are partitioned into a plurality of resource groupings. Each of the plurality of resource groupings are individually addressed to the data carried within the data transmission frame, based on a hierarchical group level of each of the plurality of resource groupings. Each of the plurality of resource groupings may be variably allocated to respective portions of the data being carried within the data transmission frame based on an amount of the data being carried in each respective portion.
