[origin: WO2009104182A2] The present invention provides an integrated deployment and attachment device (DAD) comprising means adapted to deploy a patch and means adapted to attach said patch to a biological tissue within the body; wherein said DAD is adapted to sequentially deploy said patch within said body and attach said patch to said biological tissue within said body; further wherein said deployment of said patch is (i) controlled such that a continuous deployment is obtained; and, (ii) bidirectional such that said deployment is fully reversible.
