Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009095605A2] A mobile adsorption container (1) containing at least an adsorbent material for adsorbing at least part of at least one anesthetic compound present in a gas to be treated, in particular nitrogen protoxide or xenon. The adsorption container (1) also comprises a gas inlet opening (11) via which the gas to be treated enters the container (1), a gas outlet opening (12) via which the treated gas leaves the container (1), wheels (16) for enabling the movement thereof by rolling on the ground and a handle (24) for an operator to direct and control the container while the latter is being moved. According to the invention, an assembly for dispensing anesthetic gas and recovering the gas exhaled by a patient includes such a container (1) and a gas bottle (2) containing a gas or a gaseous mixture containing at least one anesthetic compound.
