Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009097396A1] A support arrangement for a reciprocating tool comprises a first locking surface (54, 66) adjacent to an adjustable foot guide (34). The foot guide (34) includes a second locking surface (42) designed to mesh with the first locking surface (54, 66) in a locking engagement. The support arrangement further comprises a lock actuator (90) including a first cam profile (102). The lock actuator is provided adjacent to a cam plate (70) which includes a second cam profile (75, 82). The second cam profile (75, 82) is configured to interact with the first cam profile (102) and force the first locking surface (54, 66) toward the second locking surface (42) of the foot guide (34). The lock actuator (90) is moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position, wherein a first raised surface of the first cam profile (102) does not engage a second raised surface of the second cam profile (75, 82) in the unlocked position, while the first cam surface does engage the second raised surface in the locked position.
