[origin: WO2009109157A1] The invention relates to a method for using tap water intended for a drain (4), in that a water nozzle (58) is opened and the temperature of the tap water flowing out of the water nozzle (58) is increased by a heater, wherein the increasing temperature of the tap water is measured by way of a temperature measuring device (14), and the tap water flowing out of the water nozzle (58) is first conducted via an inflow (22, 24, 38) into an intermediate container (26), and the drain (4) is opened for the tap water as soon as the tap water flowing out of the water nozzle (58) has reached a minimum temperature and the inflow (22, 24, 38) to the intermediate container (26) is interrupted.
