Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2248706A1] The joint has an element i.e. guide (33), connected to a coach, and another element i.e. slide (35), connected to another coach. A displacement unit displaces the slide element in translation with respect to the guide during an impact. An energy absorption unit (56) is placed between the coaches. The absorption unit is placed between the guide and the slide. The guide is designed for allowing persons to pass between the coaches. The slide is mounted on the guide, where the slide and the guide are formed from a single piece. A maintaining unit maintains the slide with respect to the guide.
