Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2248722A1] The packing unit (17) consists of a cube of stacked articles, on top of which is a smaller layer (4), leaving gaps (7) at each side for inserting the fork of a fork-lift truck. Two retaining layers (8, 9) of plastic sheet are fitted at right angles over the top of the stack. It is then wrapped with two outer sleeves (14, 16) of sheet. An independent claim is included for a machine for producing the unit.
