Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2248727A2] The device (7) has a deflecting device (14) for deflecting a carrier belt (4) such that a label (2), which stick to the carrier belt, is removed from the carrier belt by characteristic changes of the carrier belt at the deflection device. A support device (21) prevents the removal of the label from the carrier belt when characteristic changes of the carrier belt are occurred. A support element (22) and a receiving element (25) are movable relative to the characteristic changes of the carrier belt. A storage roll (28) is provided for the removed labels. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a labeling device for labeling articles (2) a selective removal of labels stick to a carrier belt.
