Abstract (en)
The watch has a seconds fraction hand (7a) driven in rotation, directly or indirectly, by a sensor arm (27) pivoted on a plate or a movement bridge whose tilting is triggered by a push button. A circular cam (20) is formed by a sequence of elementary cams (22). The elementary cams have same contour that determines the displacement of the arm and divides one second into second fractions. A resetting unit resets a seconds fraction timer (17) to zero, and is constituted of a lever (40) acting on a pin (36) fixed on the arm or an additional arm (35) integrated to the sensor arm.

Le mécanisme comprend une aiguille (7) de fraction de secondes entraînée directement ou indirectement en rotation par un bras palpeur (27), pivoté sur une platine dont le basculement est déclenché par les moyens d'arrêt (11) du chronographe et dont l'amplitude du débattement est contrôlée par l'arrivée de son bec (29) en butée sur une came circulaire (19) entraînée directement ou indirectement par la roue de chronographe (10) et comportant x cames élémentaires (22) correspondant chacune à une seconde, lesdites cames élémentaires (22) ayant toutes un même contour déterminant le débattement du bras palpeur (27) et permettant de diviser une seconde en fractions de seconde. Le mécanisme est également applicable à une montre-chronographe à rattrapante.
