[origin: WO2009112499A1] Disclosed is a refrigerator comprising a multimedia transmission device, a refrigerator member with an internal cooling storage space, and a door element that is movably connected to the refrigerator member in order to close said internal cooling storage space. The multimedia transmission device encompasses a display module located on the door element to display external multimedia data, a control module located on the refrigerator member to control the display module, and a connection element for connecting the display module and the control module. The control module comprises a receptacle that is integrated into the refrigerator member as well as a circuit board located in said receptacle to control the display module.
