Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009109506A1] The invention relates to an electrical service device, such as a pushbutton or a momentary-contact switch, comprising an actuating element (1), which, under pressure (p), covers an actuation path (S1) and thus acts on at least one contact element (3) via a plunger part (2), which covers a switching path (S2). In order to ensure a relatively high degree of functional reliability, given simple assembly and the possibility of the compensation of distance tolerances of existing component parts as regards the position thereof relative to one another or as regards the position thereof relative to a mounting plane, the invention proposes that a transmission element (8) is arranged between the actuating element (1) and the plunger part (2), by means of which transmission element (8) the switching path (S2) covered by the plunger part (2) for switching purposes is set or can be set with respect to the actuation path (S1) of the actuating element (1).
