[origin: EP2251084A1] The device has a rotor (18) i.e. cylindrical/truncated-cone shaped rotor, mounted on a drive shaft (17) rotating around a longitudinal axis (4) in a housing (1). The rotor comprises a rotor element (28) that is subdivided into an inner area to form a bearing body (40) rotationally fixed to the shaft. A set of indentations (24) is placed on an outer circumference of the element to form rotor tools (23), where areas between two adjacent indentations form webs. The webs form active edges of the rotor tools for processing of feedstock, where the webs are formed symmetric in cross section.
