[origin: EP2251166A1] The device has housing (13) for supporting a glue application roller (15) for applying glue (18) on narrow surface of a work piece (W), where the device is coupled with a drive that moves the roller in rotation. The roller is provided in center of the device so that longitudinal axis (Ll) of the roller lies in an extension of a drive axis of the drive. An edge supply channel is supported in the housing for supplying edge material to the narrow surface of the work piece and is deviated around axis that coincides with the longitudinal axis.
