The lamp (6) has a front-lateral translucent cover (9) connected with a housing part (10), and a light source (23) arranged at a side (14) of the housing part, where the side of the housing part is turned away from the cover. A translucent cover element (16) is arranged in an optical path (H) of the light source, where light (L) of the light source is radiated from the lamp through the cover element and the cover. The cover element is arranged at the side of the housing part, where the side is turned towards the light source. The housing part comprises ventilation openings (17, 18).

Lampe für ein Hausgerät (1), welche zumindest eine Lichtquelle (23) und eine frontseitige lichtdurchlässige Abdeckung (9) aufweist, die mit einem Gehäuseteil (10) verbunden ist, wobei die Lichtquelle (23; 23a, 23b, 23c) an der der Abdeckung (9) abgewandten Seite (14) des Gehäuseteils (10) außerhalb des Gehäuseteils (10) angeordnet ist und im Strahlengang (H) der Lichtquelle (23) zumindest ein lichtdurchlässiges Deckelement (16, 22) angeordnet ist, wobei Licht (L) der Lichtquelle (23; 23a, 23b, 23c) durch das Deckelement (16, 22) und die Abdeckung (9) aus der Lampe (6) abstrahlbar ist. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Hausgerät, insbesondere einen Backofen (1), mit einer Lampe (6).
