Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2252081A2] The method involves deforming frequencies of acoustic signals or signal portions received by a left hearing aid (11) and a right hearing aid (12) of a hearing device, respectively, where the frequency deformations of the hearing aids are different from each other. The frequencies of the acoustic signals or the signal portions received by the hearing aids are deformed antisymmetrical to each other. The frequency deformations of the hearing aids are laterally changed and binaurally coupled with each other. An independent claim is also included for a binaural hearing device comprising two frequency deformation units arranged in a left hearing aid and a right hearing aid.
