Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009109462A1] A vane (20) for a gas turbine comprises a forward edge running in the longitudinal direction and a rear edge (13), the vane (20) extending therebetween perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and forming a pressure side and a suction side, said vane being provided in the proximate to the rear edge (13) with an outlet slot (14) running in the longitudinal direction for the discharge of cooling medium, wherein distributed in the outlet slot (14) in the longitudinal direction is a series of control elements (21, 22) for controlling the cooling medium mass flow exiting through the outlet slot (14). In such a vane, an even cooling of the rear edge is accomplished, even with strongly reduced cooling medium mass flow by the fact that a sequence of differently configured control elements (21, 22) is provided in the series of control elements (21, 22).
