[origin: WO2009101101A1] The invention relates to a heat exchanger header box comprising a header plate intended to be fastened to a plurality of tubes, through which at least one fluid flows, and a cover intended to at least partly close said header box when the cover is fastened to said header box, and an elastic sealing means (1) located between the header plate and the cover, characterized in that the sealing means (1) is placed so as to press and be in tension on at least two tube ends. The invention also relates to the heat exchanger incorporating two header boxes as defined and to the method of positioning such a seal in a header box.
