Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2253521A1] The booster (1) has a travel sensor (10) connected to an electromagnetic valve (11), sensing travel of a control rod (4), and controlling activation of the valve, where a brake booster piston (27) is placed outside the booster. An annular section (31) in a pressure chamber (28) is applied against a shoulder (32) of the booster piston by a return spring (36) and against a piston (30) of a master cylinder (3), and sealingly covers a mobile dowel bush (33). The bush is placed against the pressure chamber and the rod and maintained in a rest position under an action of a maintenance spring (34). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a braking device (2) a braking device comprising a brake disk.
