Abstract (en)
The life jacket has a floating body (1), which has a neck area (2) with two chest areas (3,3') attached to the neck area. The floating body is made of airtight foils cut and placed on one another and connected with each other at edges by a welded seam (7). A neck pillow (4) is provided additionally in the neck area. The neck pillow stays in streaming connection with the floating body of the life jacket by air channels (10,10').

Rettungsweste mit einem Schwimmkörper (1), der einen Nackenbereich (2) mit zwei daran anschließenden Brustbereichen (3, 3') aufweist. Der Schwimmkörper (1) ist aus im Wesentlichen V- oder ©-förmig zugeschnittenen, aufeinander gelegten und an den Rändern über eine Schweißnaht (7) miteinander verbundenen luftdichten Folien gebildet und mit Mitteln zum Einleiten bzw. Ablassen von Luft versehen. Im Nackenbereich (2) ist zusätzlich ein Nackenkissen (4) vorgesehen, das über mindestens einen Luftkanal (10 oder 10') mit dem Schwimmkörper (1) der Rettungsweste in Strömungsverbindung steht.
