[origin: EP2253576A1] The method involves aligning starting openings (10) and target openings (11, 12) of connecting links (8, 8a) with one another to insert a connecting element (20), which connect jib units (3, 4). The aligned starting openings are connected with the connecting element. The connecting element connecting the starting openings is unloaded and removed. The aligned target openings are connected with the connecting element, and the jib units are arranged in a target angle position, which is different from a starting angle position. An independent claim is also included for an angle-adjustable jib system of a crane, comprising two jib units.
