Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2254104A2] The method involves detecting values using sensors i.e. radio frequency identification transponders, with respect to characteristics e.g. speed, of objects, which are provided within a spatial area to be monitored. Fields are detected within each value of the characteristics. The behavior of the object is studied with respect to the characteristics of the objects by statistically analyzing the detected values for the field. A situation change is identified by comparing the studied behavior of the object and actually determined value of the fields with respect to the object characteristics. The objects are selected from a group consisting of human, animal, road vehicle, rail vehicle, air vehicle, water vehicle and a particle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for detecting a change in a situation within a spatial area to be monitored (2) a device for detecting the change in the situation within the spatial area to be monitored.
