[origin: EP2254130A2] The magnet assembly (10) has a magnet core (22) assimilated in a magnetic case (32). A magnet coil (24) is arranged in the magnet core. The magnet coil operates on an armature (14,16). The magnet core has a front side assigned to the armature, and comprises an air gap disk (44). The air gap disk is fixed at clamping point (42) by traction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a magnet assembly.
