Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2457702A] A table top 11, carries bedding 14, heated by ultraviolet 22 and infrared 23 lamps which use recirculated and fresh air 29, and boosted by fans 38. The table top moves on rollers 59,58,57,9 in metal tracks to 11, to allow the bed 5 ease of access. Above the lamps are 4 thermostats 24,25,26,27. Thermostat 24 provides air flow for all night temperature control. Thermostat 25 is set to a higher temperature for supplying a boosted temperature for a rapid warm up period, which then releases control back to thermostat 24. In hot weather thermostat 26 controls the air conditioning chiller unit 46 and fans 38. Thermostat 27 is a tamperproof thermostat, that removes all electricity if faulty components expose the users to health or fire risks.
