[origin: WO2009103541A1] The invention relates to a method and a tool for laminating a carrier part with a decorative layer (16), which can be thermally deformed, in a tool (2; 3; 6; 13), wherein for the lamination, said decorative layer (16) is held pre-tensioned in a holding device or said tool (2; 3; 6; 13) and laid on a carrier layer (10), which lies on said tool (2; 3; 6; 13), wherein before placing said decorative layer (16) onto said carrier part (10), a shaping contour piece (15), which can be moved relative to said decorative layer (16), is brought into contact with the second side (21) of said preheated decorative layer (16) and deforms said decorative layer (16) in a section through a further relative movement of said decorative layer (16) to said holding device (17).
