[origin: WO2009118339A1] The invention relates to a closure (1) for a package (20), preferably for a soft drink can, wherein the package (20) comprises a cover (2, 21) that has at least one off-centered outlet area (4, 22) with a predetermined break-line (6, 23), and wherein a covering (3, 31) is provided that can be moved from a closed position to an open position reversibly relative to the cover (2, 21), and a first abutting surface (7, 27) is disposed at the outlet area (4, 22), said first abutting surface cooperating with an opposite surface (12, 30) disposed at the covering (3, 31) when the covering (3, 31) is moved in order to push the opening area (4, 22) into the package (20), characterized in that another second abutting surface (8, 29) is provided at the outlet area (4, 22), said second abutting surface likewise cooperating with the opposite surface (12, 30) at a distance from the first abutting surface (7, 27) when the covering (4, 22) is moved.
