Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a compression plate, which ensures a tight wrapping of continuous film on at least one compressible object during a packaging process. Prior to closing the continuous foil wrapped around the compressible object, the compression plate compresses the compressible object unevenly so as to ensure a desired shape of the packed compressible object after closing the continuous foil.
