Abstract (en)
The container (1) has side walls (2, 3) arranged at a base (14) of a container. A flat portion with a thickness ranging from 1.4 mm to 4 mm is reinforced by a structure, which is embedded in a region near to an upper surface and made of fabric e.g. glass fabric or glass fiber mat, meshwork or fibers (4) such as glass fibers, carbon fibers, aramid fibers, thermoplastic fibers and textile fibers. The side walls and the base exhibit thickness ranging from 1.8 to 2 mm. The structure exhibits thickness of 0.1-1 mm. The container is made of polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a transport container.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Transportbehälter aus Kunststoff für Transport und/oder Lagerung von Waren, mit einem Behälterboden (14) und Seitenwänden (2,3), die umlaufend am Boden des Behälters angeordnet sind. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass mindestens ein flächiger Abschnitt des dünnwandig ausgebildeten Behälters mit einer Dicke im Bereich von 1,4 mm bis 4 mm durch ein im oberflächennahen Bereich dieses Abschnitts oder an dessen Oberfläche eingebettetes Gebilde aus Fasern (4), einem Geflecht oder Gewebe verstärkt ist.
