The stator (1) has a stator segment (3a,3b,3c) that is disposed within an outer stator tube (2). One tube end section (4) completes one end (5) of the outer stator tube. A region of the tube end section, in an axial direction that follows the outer stator tube, has a thickness that is greater than the thickness of the outer stator tube. The outer stator tube is adapted to be radially deformed to produce a connection between the stator segment and the outer stator tube. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a stator for an eccentric screw pump or an eccentric screw motor.

Offenbart wird ein Stator für eine Exzenterschneckenpumpe oder einen Exzenterschneckenmotor und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Stators. Der offenbarte Stator umfasst ein Statoraußenrohr (2), mindestens ein Statorsegment (3a, 3b, 3c) und mindestens ein Rohrendabschnitt (4), wobei das mindestens eine Statorsegment (3a, 3b, 3c) innerhalb des Statoraußenrohres (2) angeordnet ist und der mindestens eine Rohrendabschnitt (4) das Statoraußenrohr (2) an einem Ende (5) des Statoraußenrohres (2) abschließt, wobei die Wanddicke des Rohrendabschnitts (4) in einem in axialer Richtung dem Statoraußenrohr (2) nachfolgenden Bereich größer ist als die Wanddicke des Statoraußenrohres (2), und wobei das Statorsegment (3a, 3b, 3c) mittels einer radialen Stauchung des Statoraußenrohres (2) kraftschlüssig mit dem Statoraußenrohr (2) verbunden ist.
