Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2256437A2] The head has a hot heat exchanger (2) in the form of a tube whose cross-section is larger than cross-section of a pulse-tube (1). A two-stage inertance tube is connected between the heat exchanger and a reservoir. The inertance tube comprises an inertance tube part (3) causing reduced friction loss. A friction tube part (4) of the inertance tube exhibits cross-section that is lesser than that of the inertance tube part. The inertance tube part is connected with the heat exchanger, and the friction tube part is connected with the reservoir.
