[origin: EP2256443A2] The door system (10) has a carrier unit (110) arranged at a distance from a horizontal upper edge of an appliance door (100). Another carrier unit (210) is arranged on a front plate (200) and connected with the former carrier unit. Load resulting from the weight of the front plate is applied on the appliance door over the carrier units while attaching the front plate at the door unit. A height pre-positioning sheets (220) adjusts vertical alignment of the latter carrier unit. A covering line (130) covers the carrier units. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a door-system for cooling and refrigerating devices.
