[origin: EP2257134A1] The arrangement (1) has an input (2) provided with input connections (3, 4), and a resonant circuit with a resonant inductor (12) coupled between one of the input connections and a connection (8a) of a connection pair (8) of a connection arrangement. The resonant circuit has a resonant capacitor (13) coupled between the connection pair and a connection pair (11) of another connection arrangement. A capacitive voltage divider (16) has capacitors (16a, 16b) coupled in parallel with the connection arrangements, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a series circuit of low-pressure gas-discharge lamps on a circuit arrangement.
