Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009112763A2] The invention relates to a cosmetic method particularly intended for improving the appearance of the skin and/or hair, which comprises simultaneously and/or consecutively delivering: a) at least one lipase-bioconvertible compound; and b) at least one light ray having a predominant wavelength that activates the lipase. More particularly, the light ray of the invention emits at least one predominant wavelength that activates the lipase and ranges from 400 to 510 nm, preferably 430 to 500 nm, preferably in a dose of 0.01 to 200J/cm2, preferably from 0.1 to 30J/cm2, more preferably from 1 to 30J/cm2, or even from 5 to 30J/cm2. The invention also relates to a composition containing at least one lipase-bioconvertible compound, and at least one compound emitting and/or filtering, in particular upon exposure to light, a light radiation having at least one predominant wavelength that activates the lipase. The invention further relates to a kit that comprises at least one composition containing at least one lipase-bioconvertible compound, and a device and/or a compound emitting and/or filtering a light radiation having at least one predominant wavelength that activates the lipase.
