[origin: FR2929559A1] The method involves applying inclined surface (8) of a base (5) of a frame (2) in a lateral door of a motor vehicle against inclined surface (7) of a door lining (1), where a junction plane between the inclined surfaces forms an acute angle with respect to a junction plane (P) of a frame assembly on the lining. A relative position of the inclined surfaces is modified for pivoting the frame of the door with respect to the door lining. An independent claim is also included for a device for adjusting a position of a frame of a door of a motor vehicle, comprising a displacing unit.
