[origin: EP2258517A2] The quick clamping device (1) has clamping units (9a,9b), which are movable between a loosened position and a clamped position by cranks (17a,17b,18a,18b) of a mechanical crank drive. A movable connector is arranged between one of the clamping units and one of the moving cranks. The connector stressing force is adjustable in a preset displacement length of the clamping units.
