[origin: WO2009125074A1] The invention relates to a rolling plant comprising a reversible rolling mill having two stands (2, 4). Each upright (22, 24) of the stands (2, 4) rests on a support structure (25) via a bearing surface and is fastened thereto by a rod (80) integral with the structure and cooperating with the upright via a removable fastening means (82). The plant is characterized in that the bearing surface of each upright is provided on the lower face (28, 48) of the upright, without extending beyond the lateral faces (26, 46) directed along the rolling direction (A) of the uprights, and includes a hole (64, 74) opening into a hollow housing (62, 72) provided in the upright and having an orifice opening onto a lateral face (26, 46) of the upright. The rod (80) extends through the hole and projects into the housing, and the removable fastening means (82) is placed inside the housing.
