Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009108114A1] The invention relates to a fan arrangement of a vehicle (2) in which the engine space (4) comprises inlets (10, 12) through which the fan arrangement (8) is adapted to drawing in ambient air in the form of cooling air flows (A, B), a cooling package (14) is situated in a first inlet (10) and the fan arrangement (8) comprises a first fan (16) adapted to drawing in (A) ambient air over the cooling package (14) to cool the latter, and to blowing out (C) warmed air from the engine space (4) to the surroundings (18) of the vehicle (2) via a first duct (20), the fan arrangement (8) further comprises a second fan (22) adapted to drawing in (B) ambient air over the engine (6) to cool the latter, and to blowing out warmed air (D) from the engine space (4) to the surroundings (18) of the vehicle (2) via a second duct (24), the first fan (16) is arranged on the same drive shaft (26) as the second fan (22), and a fan cowling (28) in the engine space (4) is adapted to separating the two air flows (A/C and B/D) from one another to prevent the air streams from affecting one another.
