[origin: WO2009109448A1] A burner arrangement (10, 16, 20) comprises a swirl-generating premix burner (11) for preparing an air/fuel mixture that is produced using a first fuel, and a mixing pipe (13, 17, 21) which adjoins the premix burner (11) downstream thereof and extends into a combustion chamber (14). In order to be able to safely operate such a burner arrangement with highly reactive, particularly H2-rich fuel, the mixing pipe has a constriction (18) downstream of the outlet of the swirl generator (11a), and means (19, 22) for spraying in the highly reactive, particularly H2-rich fuel are disposed at the level of the constriction (18).
