The device (4) has a housing (5) including a propeller that is driven by a drive motor, and a holder (6) for detachable positioning in a swimming pool (1), where the holder includes a pedestal-like supporting foot that is positioned on a floor (3) of the swimming pool. The housing is connected in a swivelable manner via a length-adjustable holding strut (11), and the supporting foot is formed by a base plate (7a) parallel to the floor of the swimming pool. A bottom side of the base plate is arranged to be planar and provided with a closed surface.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Transportable Gegenstromeinrichtung (4) für Schwimmbecken (1) mit einem Gehäuse (5), in welchem ein von einem Antriebsmotor angetriebener Propeller angeordnet ist, wobei die Gegenstromeinrichtung (4) eine Halterung (H) zum lösbaren Positionieren im Schwimmbecken (1) aufweist, wobei die Halterung (H) einen am Boden (3) des Schwimmbeckens (1) positionierbaren sockelartigen Standfuß (7) aufweist, mit welchem das Gehäuse (5) über zumindest eine erste Haltestrebe (8) schwenkbar verbunden ist. Eine transportable und ohne Montagearbeiten leicht aufzustellende Gegenstromeinrichtung, welche in jedem Schwimmbecken eingesetzt werden kann, kann dadurch realisiert werden, dass der Standfuß (7) durch eine schwimmbeckenbodenparallele Bodenplatte (7a) gebildet ist, wobei vorzugsweise die Unterseite der Bodenplatte (7a) eben und mit geschlossener Oberfläche ausgebildet ist.
