The computer comprises a data input station (5) designed to output a candidate list (KL) on the screen device, where the list comprises a receiver-identifier (Add) of the record. The selection of the receiver-identifier from the list is determined using the input station, where a receiving unit-identifier is output as an identifier of a receiving unit (B4). The identifier of the receiving unit is associated to a record, whose receiver-identifier is selected. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling transportation of a mail article to a mail box of a mail box system.
