[origin: EP2261562A2] A kit for a domestic gas appliance comprising at least one burner, the kit (300) comprising a gas control valve (2) connectable between a gas source and the burner (1); and control means (3) electrically coupled to the gas control valve (2) to control the opening and closing of said gas control valve (2). The control means (3) is adapted to be coupled to an audio input and are configured to receive an analog sound signal (Sson) and to generate a control signal (Sc) based on the analog sound signal (Sson) deliverable to the gas control valve (2) to cause the opening and/or closing of said gas control valve (2), for the purpose of inducing a modulation of a flame in the burner (1).
