Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2261588A1] The device has a directional angle bearing (23) of turret (2) formed of internal ring (11), external ring (12) and rolling elements (16) e.g. balls. A clearance reduction unit (19) is integrated to the turret and locally reduces a clearance of the bearing at the level of angular zone (Z) located close to a longitudinal axis of the turret corresponding to projection in a bearing plane of axle of weapon system carried by the turret. The clearance reducing unit includes a support fixed to a casing and integrated to one of the rings. An independent claim is also included for a side view of a turret bearing equipped with a directional angle aiming device in implantation mode.
