[origin: WO2009125115A2] A system (S), dedicated to managing accessibility to objects in different places (L1-L3), comprises i) distributed management facilities (EGD1-EGD3) associated with each of the places (L1-L3) and each tasked with controlling the storage of digital images of the objects situated in the associated place in correspondence with information representing the distributed management facilities (EGD1-EGD3) which respectively store them, their state of availability, rules defining their use, the state of accessibility of the corresponding objects, and rules defining the use of the corresponding objects, and generating requests asking for access to at least one object or one image of an object in their associated place, and ii) a centralized management facility (EGC) tasked, in the event of receiving a request from a distributed management facility (EGD1) and asking for access to a given object or a given image of an object in the place (L1) with which it is associated, with accessing the information associated with this given object or with this given image of an object so as to authorize access thereto in this place (L1) when the state of accessibility or of availability thereof so permits at this place (L1) and when the request complies with the rules of use associated therewith.
